Lack of provision for walkers and cyclists in Waterfront development

Stirling Station has a new “cycling hub” – but there seem to be no plans for anything similar in the multi-million pound reconstruction of Dundee Station, and walkers and cyclists get very little attention in the plans for the Waterfront.  Meanwhile Edinburgh Council commits to introducing 20 mph speed limits to make city streets safer, whilst Dundee City Council is going slow on the issue (see this related post).

Friends of the Earth Tayside raised these issues in September, but received only bland general reassurances from Dundee City Council.  See this report from the Courier.
